Great Expectations Final Outcomes

I started up on this project believing that I would for the final outcome create my own version of each of the characters, as I usually find this the most interesting and somewhat easier than any other task. I instead gave myself the challenge of designing a new cover of the classic novel by Charles Dickens. As I had been thinking more about the different ways of interpreting the story, especially in a modern context, I aimed to create the cover design with this in mind. I experimented with printing on different types of paper, to visualise my concept of how, if it were a physical book, what the finished product would look like and how it would be bound.
